Kimberly MacPherson has over 22 years of experience in the automotive industry. A fine
arts graduate from Dalhousie University, she began her automotive career as a sales
professional, then finance, manager, sales manager, dealer principal and VP of
automotive marketing and leasing companies.
In 2003, after starting her automotive-event marketing company, Kim noticed a need for
better sales and finance training in the industry. Her focus became creating a
profitable, ethical and effective way of selling vehicles to less than perfect credit
customers. After proving out her sales and finance process both in the sale event model
and then in her own Kim started MAC Automotive, recently rebranded as Sell It Smart and
Buy It Smart.
Kim is best known for her hands-on approach to automotive sales, finance and management
training that keeps her sharp in today’s real world. Her international speaking
engagements have placed her at the F+I Conference and Expo in Las Vegas, dealer 20 group meetings, as a guest on talk radio programs and teaching in franchise and independent dealerships across Canada and the United States.
